Eighty One years ago on the 6th August 1945 a USAAF B29 Superfortress named Enola Gay of the 393rd Bombardment Squadron dropped an Atomic Bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

Just 3 days later, on the 9th August, another B29 named Bockscar dropped a second atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki.

On this 81st anniversary of the first A-bomb being dropped, we welcome back Trevor Sharpe who will be looking onto the bombings and whether it was right or wrong to drop the bombs.

Cost £3/person payable on the door.
