On Friday 12th September 2025 I will be giving an illustrated talk on the history of the 10th Battalion Parachute Regiment in aid of Somerby’s All Saints Church Restoration Fund.
The talk will explore the Battalion’s history from its formation through to its disbandment post Operation MARKET GARDEN in 1944, focusing on its time in Somerby and the surrounding villages.
Doors open 6.45pm and talk starts at 7.30pm
Short interval, Q&A, finish approx. 9.30pm
