Join us for our December talk when Brian Fare will be talking about  Melton Mowbray and World War Two.

During WW2, based in Melton Mowbray were several Battalions of the Parachute Regiment, there was the Remount Depot looking after and training both horses and dogs for the Army.

There was also RAF Melton Mowbray and the Home Guard plus search light units.

But what else went on in Melton during WW2.  What did the civilians get up to?

Why not join us to find out what Melton got up to during the Second World War.
