 ting his latest talk about Royal Air Force Langar.\n\nThe airfield opened 
 in 1942 as an RAF Bomber Unit and became home to No 207 Sqn (Leicester’s
  Own) before transferring to the USAAF as AAF Station 490 and then after t
 he war it became a Canadian base and home to No 30 Air Materiel Base (AMB)
 .\n\nThis should be an interesting talk as many Meltonians worked at the b
